Hi there, my name is Max Miller, and I’m currently doing an exchange year in Tokyo, Japan. I’ve always been fascinated by Japanese culture and language, so when the opportunity arose to come here and immerse myself in it for a whole year, I knew I had to take it.

Aside from my interest in Japanese culture, I also have a few hobbies that keep me busy. Photography is one of my biggest passions, and Japan’s stunning landscapes and bustling cityscapes make for some amazing photo opportunities. I love the challenge of finding the perfect shot, and I’m always trying to improve my skills.

Another hobby of mine is swimming. I’ve been swimming competitively since I was a kid, and I find it to be a great way to stay in shape and relieve stress. Japan has some incredible swimming facilities, and I’ve been taking advantage of them as much as possible.

Overall, I’m really enjoying my time here in Japan. The people are friendly, the food is delicious, and there’s always something new and interesting to discover. I feel really lucky to be able to experience this incredible country and its culture firsthand, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the rest of my exchange year has in store for me.
